$72mPet Nutrition programme

The challenge

A global PLM transformation needed a more credible value story, clearer ownership and stronger alignment between corporate delivery and Pet Nutrition’s real operating needs.

What changed

  1. Lead the $72m Pet Nutrition PLM programme within a wider $239m cross-segment enterprise transformation.
  2. Rebuilt the business case from first principles, replacing optimistic assumptions with a grounded value case.
  3. Created and led a specialist team with clear accountabilities, governance and ways of working.
  4. Built alignment across all 11 Pet Nutrition organisational entities and their senior finance and technical stakeholders.
  5. Led key sourcing and early design decisions for external manufacturing, supplier collaboration and orchestration.
  6. Reshaped ownership when Phase 2 needed more momentum and helped realign the cross-enterprise delivery model.
Scale

Result

A value case that leaders could support, more focused design decisions and a delivery organisation better able to recover momentum.

What it enabled
